Finally, after a break of over a month, I'm back. The last issue I actually wrote was on October 30. I needed that break.
I was going to have an official break, actually. I was feeling mentally and spiritually burnt out. But instead of having
no Randomness, God provided a better solution--have other people do Randomness. He provided me with Matt Cimone and a poem
by Robbie! But now I'm ready again. I've written two research papers and several tests and don't have any exams for a bit,
so I have a bit of free time--and ideas!!!! People have a thirst for righteousness. People want the glory of God
Almighty. I bought a CD, the first non-Romantic CD I've bought since August (I bought a Weber and a Mendelssohn in October).
It's Third Day's new disc, Come Together. I like the chorus of "Show Me Your Glory":* Show me Your glory
Send down Your presence I want to see Your face Show me Your glory Majesty shines about You I can't go
on without You, Lord It's so true! That's what we want--the glory of the Lord! This summer, I was hanging at my
friend's place, and she played me this one song from a new CD of hers. She liked the song a lot because it was just glorifying
God. It was just talking about how great He is. Another friend saw Michael W. Smith at a big Christian rock festival. He
said he was going to change the program a bit. Instead of putting on a show, he did a worship session. People have a thirst
for glory. We want a glimpse of God. Let us just take a moment and revel in the magnificence of God. Most of you have read
my "The Power of God" (aka Issue 24). I need not go into how awesome He is. His glory is so magnificent that no
one (man or angel) can look upon His face and live (Exodus, Isaiah). Let us just praise Him for Who HE IS. Psalm
100** Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful
songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For
the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Let's go out
and seek the glory of God and praise His holy Name. Let's drink it up to satisfy our thirst. And maybe we can show our friends
that glory they thirst after. Be God's, Matthew Hoskin Gloria dei homina trahit. *By Mark Lee,
